Flyers must meet the following guidelines:

• Flyers must be in English and Spanish
• Flyers advertising fundraising by outside organizations or agencies will not be distributed.
• Flyers promoting an activity, event, or class(es) with any fees, must have scholarships or financial assistance that provide a complete program at no cost available for students or families who wish to attend/participate, but are unable to pay. The availability of such assistance must be noted on the flyer.
• Consistent with FUESD Board Policy 0410, events, classes, or activities must be open to all persons regardless of race, color, ancestry, national origin, ethnic group identification, age, religion, marital or parental status, physical or mental disability, sex, sexual orientation, gender, gender identity or expression, or genetic information; the perception of one or more of such characteristics; or association with a person or group with one or more of these actual or perceived characteristics. Age and/or grade level restrictions are allowable.

FUESD reserves the right to deny any request that is not consistent with school objectives, does not support the basic educational mission of the district, does not directly benefit the students, or is not of intrinsic value to the students or their parents/guardians. The district also reserves the right to occasionally allow minor exceptions to these guidelines for community organizations it partners with; such requests will be evaluated on a case-by-case basis. Approval is at the sole discretion of FUESD.
