The Fallbrook Union Elementary School District held its November Governing Board meeting on November 6, 2025, featuring important updates, student recognitions, and actions that continue to support the district’s mission of growing greatness in every learner.
Students from Mary Fay Pendleton and San Onofre School led the flag salute and delivered a presentation honoring Military Family Appreciation Month and districtwide Veterans Day celebrations.
A highlight of the evening was the recognition of students excelling in attendance, reading, and math, a monthly tradition cherished by families as they celebrate their children’s achievements.
San Onofre School was recognized for the highest October average daily attendance at 95.4%.
Top readers from each school, including Potter Jr. High, were honored for contributing to the district’s impressive 781,611 minutes of reading so far this year. La Paloma Elementary earned special recognition for the highest participation, with 480 badges and more than half of its students tracking reading time.
Students showing exceptional growth in the district’s adaptive math program were also celebrated, with FUESD students completing 24,300 math sessions in October alone.
The Board also received two key presentations:
- CAASPP Performance Overview: Assistant Superintendent Tavga Bustani shared districtwide improvements in ELA and Math.
- Capital Facilities Funding: Jin Kim of BofA Securities provided an update on general obligation bonds and local facility funding options.
The meeting concluded with appreciation for the students, staff, families, and community members who continue to make Fallbrook’s schools strong, supportive, and growth-focused learning environments.
El Distrito Escolar Primario de Fallbrook llevó a cabo su reunión de la Mesa Directiva de noviembre el 6 de noviembre de 2025, presentando actualizaciones importantes, reconocimientos estudiantiles y acciones que continúan apoyando la misión del distrito de fomentar la grandeza en cada estudiante.
Estudiantes de Mary Fay Pendleton y San Onofre dirigieron el saludo a la bandera y compartieron una presentación en honor al Mes de Aprecio a las Familias Militares y a las celebraciones del Día de los Veteranos en todo el distrito.
Uno de los momentos más destacados de la noche fue el reconocimiento a estudiantes que sobresalen en asistencia, lectura y matemáticas, una tradición mensual muy apreciada por las familias mientras celebran los logros de sus hijos.
San Onofre School fue reconocida por lograr el promedio de asistencia diaria más alto en octubre, con un 95.4%.
Los mejores lectores de 5.º y 6.º grado de cada escuela, junto con el mejor lector de Potter Jr. High, fueron honrados por contribuir a los impresionantes 781,611 minutos de lectura acumulados por los estudiantes del distrito. La Paloma Elementary recibió un reconocimiento especial por su alta participación, con 480 insignias obtenidas y más de la mitad de sus estudiantes registrando su tiempo de lectura.
