The Fallbrook Union Elementary School District Governing Board held its regular meeting on April 23, 2026, highlighting student achievement, school recognitions, and continued efforts to support our community.
Celebrating Student Achievement
A major highlight of the evening was the recognition of outstanding student success across the district. Students were honored for their achievements in attendance, reading, and math, reflecting the district’s commitment to academic growth and engagement.
Fallbrook students continue to demonstrate a strong love of learning. In March alone, students read more than 1.5 million minutes and over 15,000 books, while also completing more than 20,000 math sessions—a testament to their dedication and hard work.
Attendance Matters – A Winning Streak for FSA
Strong attendance remains a key priority across FUESD, and Fallbrook STEM Academy (FSA) continues to lead the way. With an impressive 95.1% attendance rate in March, FSA has now earned the district’s top attendance recognition for three consecutive months.
Congratulations to the students, staff, and families at FSA for setting the standard—Go Fallbrook STEM!
Honoring Military Community Support
The Board also celebrated two schools for their exceptional commitment to supporting military-connected students and families.
San Onofre School (SOS) and Mary Fay Pendleton (MFP) were each presented with a Certificate of Recognition from Assemblywoman Laurie Davies (74th District) in honor of their designation as California Purple Star Schools.
This recognition highlights the schools’ ongoing dedication to creating supportive, inclusive environments for military families. The Governing Board extended its sincere congratulations to both schools for not only earning this distinction, but for maintaining a strong and meaningful focus on serving our military community.

La Mesa Directiva del Distrito Escolar Primario de Fallbrook (FUESD) llevó a cabo su reunión regular el 23 de abril de 2026, destacando los logros estudiantiles, reconocimientos escolares y los esfuerzos continuos para apoyar a nuestra comunidad.
Celebrando el Logro Estudiantil
Uno de los momentos más destacados de la reunión fue el reconocimiento del éxito académico de nuestros estudiantes en todo el distrito. Se honró a estudiantes por sus logros en asistencia, lectura y matemáticas, reflejando el compromiso del distrito con el crecimiento académico y la participación estudiantil.
