Dear Fallbrook Union Elementary School Families,
I hope this email finds you and your family healthy and well. I’m writing to inform you that Dr. Stacey McRae has resigned from her position as the President of the Fallbrook Union Elementary School District Board of Education. Owing to her recent relocation and in accordance with trustee area regulations, Dr. McRae stepped down from her role as an FUESD Board Member effective September 6, 2023.
During Dr. McRae’s tenure as President, she demonstrated a sincere commitment to enhancing our school district and fostering a collaborative environment among our teachers, staff, and parents.
Her decision to resign was well-considered. She expressed her gratitude for the opportunity to contribute to both the school district and the community, stating, “I feel a deep sense of gratitude for the privilege to work alongside the outstanding members of our Executive Team. Their exceptional talents in their respective domains and their focus on student well-being consistently inspired me during my time in this role.”
In light of this development, Trustee McBride, our Vice President, will assume the role of President. She is committed to representing our community effectively and professionally. Recognizing the significance of this role and its associated responsibilities, she pledges to work diligently and collaboratively with fellow board members to ensure the continued progress and success of our educational community.
To keep everyone informed, we’ve scheduled a presentation for the Board, providing details on the timeline and process to fill the trustee vacancy. We invite you to join us during our next Board meeting on Monday, September 11th at 6:00 p.m. I remain committed to maintaining open and transparent communication with our staff and the community throughout this process.
In closing, we extend our appreciation to Dr. McRae for her service to the Fallbrook Union Elementary School District and wish her the best in her future endeavors.

Stacey McRae ha presentado su renuncia a su puesto como Presidenta de la Junta de Educación del Distrito Escolar Primario de Fallbrook Union.
