The Fallbrook Union Elementary School District (FUESD) Governing Board is pleased to announce the selection of Constance Fish to be appointed as the Trustee for FUESD Area 4, fulfilling the remainder of the term left vacant following the resignation of former FUESD Board President Dr. Stacey McCrae. Fish was selected by a unanimous 4-0 vote by the board, highlighting her extensive experience and dedication to education in the community of Fallbrook.
This decision was made after an extensive and rigorous selection process, during which the board faced the monumental task of choosing one candidate from a pool of seven highly qualified individuals. Constance Fish emerged as the clear choice, given her outstanding qualifications and deep commitment to education.
FUESD Governing Board Acting President, Mary McBride had a few words to share about her excitement for the future, “We are immensely grateful to welcome Constance Fish as the new Trustee for FUESD Area 4. Her appointment is a vital step in realizing our vision that every student can be successful and deserves equal opportunities to thrive. Constance’s dedication and expertise perfectly align with these beliefs. Together, we will make this vision a reality in FUESD Schools.”
Constance Fish is a respected, long-time resident of Fallbrook, who has dedicated her life to education. Her impressive career spans various roles, including teacher, principal, and district administrator. Fish even worked as Assistant Superintendent of Education Services for FUESD from 2000 to 2005. Her appointment as the Trustee for Area 4 reflects the board’s confidence in her ability to continue fostering excellence in the district. Constance continues to be an active member of Fallbrook, currently serving as Governance Chair for Fallbrook Arts and an active member of the Rotary Club of Fallbrook.
In response to her appointment, Constance Fish shared her vision for the future, stating, “I believe there is so much potential here and a lot of really qualified people. It is all about working together to make it happen.” Fish’s commitment to collaboration and her deep ties to the local community will undoubtedly contribute to the ongoing success of the FUESD.
While Constance Fish has been selected as the new trustee for Area 4, she will officially assume her position after being sworn in at the next regular board meeting, scheduled for November 6th. The FUESD Governing Board is looking forward to her leadership and the positive impact she will bring to the district and its students.

La Junta Directiva del Distrito Escolar Primario de Fallbrook Union (FUESD) se complace en anunciar la selección de Constance Fish para ser nombrada como Fiduciaria del Área 4 de FUESD, cumpliendo el resto del término que quedó vacante tras la renuncia de la ex Presidenta de la Junta de FUESD, la Dra. Stacey McCrae. Fish fue seleccionada por una votación unánime de 4-0 por parte de la junta, resaltando su amplia experiencia y dedicación a la educación en la comunidad de Fallbrook.
Esta decisión se tomó después de un extenso y riguroso proceso de selección, durante el cual la junta se enfrentó a la monumental tarea de elegir a un candidato de un grupo de siete personas altamente calificadas. Constance Fish surgió como la elección clara, dadas sus destacadas calificaciones y su profundo compromiso con la educación.
